It makes no sense indeed After all those years, we should have the perfect football game. But if this would be real, there would be no reason to bring it again and again every year. So they built in new bugs deliberately to fix them in the next game. That procedure will repeat after year after year after.. In the end, to own just one Fifa game is enough. Maybe buying a new game after 5-6 years would be worthwhile

Its totally crazy but the devlopers also know football fans will pay crazy money every 6 months for the latest shirts, so why not games...
99p is a crazy amount, I couldnt buy an 8 bit cassette back in 89 for that. Great game to, but not as good as world soccer on the sms... you cant beat those national anthems lol ;-)

Recently, i and a lot of other people got blasted on Steam for buying NBA 2K16 "Who pays 60 bucks for a sports game?", "Why don't you just play Basketball in real life", "It's the same every year" I actually broke my own rule of buying a game from a sports series only every 2 years minimum, since i got NBA 2K14, NBA 2K15 and now pre-ordered 2K16 But it has more than enough new features to warrant it. I agree about EA Sports games that they rarely have any new features and FIFA is a great example. The so called Career mode hasn't really changed between FIFA 12 and FIFA 15, except they took out some features like being able to play as Player-Manager. The Menu looks exactly the same it did in FIFA 14 and the gameplay hasn't changed at all, you can score the same cheap "always goes in" goals from the same spots you could 3 years ago, so i'm glad i didn't buy FIFA 15 and bought FIFA 14 when it was on sale. Then again, can't the same be said about a lot of other franchises? Call of Duty is always the same, so is Assassin's Creed, that series hasn't evolved at all.

I play Basketball in real life, in my free time haha. To be fair, as far as I notice, they improve the NBA games very well so they deserve it to be successful.
Yeah it´s the same with Assassin´s Creed, CoD and all that stuff. I can´t see them anymore by watching news videos on Youtube ect. so I am glad to stay with my older consoles.
The Fifa series bores me, because like you said, it´s mostly the same stuff every year. But football is too popular and all the fans need the actual rosters ect blah blah -,- Unbelievable that some of these series are still selling well^^

I have a strange collection- interesting fifa games.
I originally wanted every fifa relating to the world cup, but that was expensive, all i wanted them for was because they were interesting. So i bought interesting ones when they were cheap.

I must admit i find games like call of duty really dull. I hate all the long intros on the new games, the ones where you have to watch the story unfold and then complete some kind of training before you can progress.
There are a few exceptions, one being grand theft auto! I love that game although I must admit i've never played it properly, i just use the cheats to get all the cool stuff lol.

Well like i explained on Steam: I'm a woman and only 1,70m so i can't dunk and do all the fancy stuff, unless i could bring a stepladder on the court but that would be considered cheating so i stick to the virtual basketball where i can prentend to fly like an eagle, ruin LeBron's evening and make Wilt Chamberlain and his records look like an amateur There are a few exceptions, one being grand theft auto! I love that game although I must admit i've never played it properly, i just use the cheats to get all the cool stuff lol. GTA is another good example of a franchise that hasn't progressed all that much. GTA V was a total disappointment since i've seen it all before in the previous games: Same corrupt cops that fuck you over, same tired "I'm so violent but actually have issues" and "I don't want to be a gangster but i grew up here" - characters and the same old gameplay, some old "Drive there, shoot this, get ambushed again"-stuff And it's the same 3 american cities over and over again. I really would like for Rockstar to retire GTA for at least a decade and in the mean time produce sequels to Red Dead Redemption, Bully and L.A. Noire, first two might follow the GTA formula but have a more interesting, unique setting and characters and L.A. Noire was a blast to play, i want more of that.
