On august 6, Piko Interactive has released Corn Buster, Dorke and Ymp, Hind Strike (all SNES) and Water Margin (Mega Drive). The games were in development/production for quite some time and Piko has released them punctual, according with their time schedule. Here is the cover of Water Margin: The game itself is priced at 40,00 US$ (cart only) - 55,00 US$ (CIB) plus shipping (and probably import charges). Here is the link: CLICKI have heard that practically everything is stolen from other games in Water Margin, why Super Fighter Team sold the licence to Piko Interactive. So I don´t know if I should buy this game or not, but rather not. I bought Dorke and Ymp now for one hell of a price. What do you think about Water Margin? Will you buy a copy? Cheers, Gordman

I like beat 'em ups, but I'm not getting it. Though I might try out the original Chinese version on emulation Edit: Is it original artwork on the cover? Or was this a remake of the Chinese cover? Either way, I'm not impressed by how the characters are drawn. I'm guessing they want to make the characters look like they do in the game, but they look a bit "cheap" and not very professional. They especially stand out seeing as the title and the background are both really good looking and professional.

To be honest, I don´t know how the original artwork looks like. You´re right, it´s not the best drawing style, but I like the colours they´ve chosen, vividly colored.

Is there some YouTube footage of that game or the original version? There are! Here is Piko´s Gameplay Trailer: And here is a walkthrough of the chinese version: Plus, I received an interesting message from Eleazar Galindo (the boss of Piko Interactive) today, and I would like to share a few things with you guys. I´ve mentioned at another forums that Water Margin has stolen content. Eli told me something about this: So I think there is nothing stolen directly, but inspired (like so many other games). Here is a packshot of the game:

It looks like a good game if you like Golden Axe style. The music seems to be well made too. I don't see any graphical similarity with any game I know, but the death screams are definitely from Streets of Rage 2.
