[Mega Drive] Water Margin

I noticed you mentioned Water Margin had stolen content, and at first, I thought so too; however I went researching and could not find matching 1:1 ripped graphics from other games. Everything just seemed to be "inspired" in other titles, but completely original. That is the main reason why I decided to keep the original graphics. In my short experience in the game development industry, I've come to learn that amateur sprite artist, most of the time, use other sprites as a base to make their own designs, and I believe Water Margin is the case . I wouldn't really like to get in trouble with original designers etc.

As for the sprites, again, I am not too worried about if the games share similar animations or stuff with other games. I actually talked to SquareEnix and Capcom about stuff like this on E3 and they are mostly worried about people using their actual characters in piracy (Megaman, Chrono, etc.) , not really if a sprite or animation look similar or even 1:1 to one of their games. They say is hard to prove if the artist really just re-drew it exactly like that or just were ripped, and not worth the legal and attorney fees.

The graphics are mostly a mixture of Knights of the Round and King of Dragons with some other stuff (one boss has the same animations as Zangief from Street Fighter, the Ice Spell is directly taken from Darkstalker) and also the music ist mostly ripped from other games (there's a lot of old Final Fantasy in there).
