Hey fellas.
I live in Berlin, Germany but was born and raised at the coast of the North Sea which I still consider my home .
I'm 22 years old and probably one of the younger folks in the retro collecting scene. My first console was the PS2 in 2004 and with that I got my first game the classic Athens 2004 . Obviously not the greatest game to start things off but I can't deny that it had an impact on me and I have been gaming ever since
I got into the retro stuff shortly after I moved to Berlin. At first I just got myself a NES and a SNES because I wanted to know what all the fuzz was about (it was the time when retro games started to appear on other sites and were introduced to a wider audience). It was good fun playing games like the original Tetris or F-Zero but soon I went back to playing on my PS3. In early 2013 I got back into playing the old games and started buying more games and other systems. Admittedly I still play a lot more on my PS3 and PS4 than any other system but the collecting hasn't stopped. Although it is getting slower due to less deals, higher prices and the fact that I already own quite a bit of stuff.
I collect for pretty much every system there is although I do have priorities. At the moment I'm trying to complete the Master System set (which is going very slow), find the last two games for my Videopac set and I'm also one of the few crazy people that attempt a full PAL PS3 set.
Apart from collecting and the more typical interests such as music and movies I'm also interested in pretty much everything else. I love expanding my knowledge and in my opinion there is pretty much nothing boring about anything ^^. However the one subject I particularly enjoy is history and politics.
I guess that's all there is to say about me at the moment
